This photo has a sense of mystery, as it uses the wooden pathway and the background to make the viewer curious of what is across the pathway and beyond the grass that is blowing in the wind. Also I like how he/she chose to put it in black and white hwen he/she edited as it also adds to the sense of mystery. I would like to use these methods in my work such as using more of the background instead of just focusing in on one object as I do the majority of the time.
What I like about this photo is that there is no special effects or anything, it is just a simple photo. Yet I think that it is a an amazing photo as the photographer uses the man in the middle of the photo as his subject yet the subject is not what makes the photo it is what surround shim. I would like to use this in my work as most of mine are just focused on the subject and only the subject, i would like to start using more of the surroundings to make my photos better.
